Want to Display Relative Dates in WordPress?
Have you seen instead of showing the published date of article in this format; February 5th, 2011, it is shown under this format; February 5th 2011 (30 minutes ago)?
Interested to know how can you have such format in your WordPress blog?
It is actually simple and even for those don’t have programming knowledge, you can have it installed in mere minutes!

First you have to install WP-Relative Date into your WordPress blog. Basically, this WordPress plugin will help you to displays relative date alongside with your post/comments actual date. Like ‘Today’, ‘Yesterday’, ’2 Days Ago’, ’2 Weeks Ago’, ’2 ‘Seconds Ago’, ’2 Minutes Ago’, ’2 Hours Ago’.
That’s all! By installing this WordPress plugin, any element of your WordPress blog that have date on them will automatically have this relative date format such as for comments, posts and pages.
However, this format will only appear for post or comment which is not more than one month old. If it is more than one month, normal date format will appear; without the relative date.
Have you tried this plugin or planning to try it? What about you share your experience and maybe issues that you have to encountered while using this WordPress plugin?
I am eager to hear more from you. ![]()

Will definitely install this plug-in! I think it would be helpful to my followers. They will know if I’ve just published my post. And they can probably leave a comment and I can reply right away!
