So, let me introduce to you one great WordPress plugin that allows you to add Google-like Instant Search functionality to your WordPress site. It is called Dave’s WordPress Live Search.

In simple words, this WordPress plugin adds “Instant Search” functionality to your WordPress site. As visitors type words into your WordPress site’s search box, the plugin continually queries WordPress, looking for search results that match what the user has typed so far.

So, for this edition of Quick Tip, I want to share with you how you can automatically include your signature after the content of your blog posts.

First, you have to create the signature and upload it into WordPress site. The best way to do this is by using GIMP software and then uploads it into your WordPress site by clicking on the Media tab of your site dashboard.

Then, copy and paste the code snippet below into your functions.php (Appearance Tab > Editor > functions.php)

Before you save the adjustment you made with your functions.php file, change the image url that I have highlighted above with image url of your own signature that you have uploaded earlier on.

Style Your Content Page With Visual Composer From WP Bakery

The reason for this post is to give you in-depth look on Visual Composer. I want to thank  WPBakery for providing access to a demo area in order to test this plugin.

After you buy Visual Composer and install it into your WordPress site, there will be new button that appears in page editor.

And if you click on the “Visual Composer” button, that is when you will see the idea behind Visual Composer.

You can select whether you want to show title for your page. You can also put caption text which will be visible under the title.

And if you want to showcase your portfolio, you can add slider that will be rotated at the top (before the content).

You can drag and drop the slider images too.

Then, there is another section of the page editor. This will allow you to determine the overall structure of the page. There are two segments that will help you to design. They are overall layout and content elements of your WordPress page.

To make it as user-friendly as it can be for you, each layout and content element comes with edit and delete icon. The edit button is for you to customize the content elements further to suit your site and need.
